Emjoi Soft Caress Hair Remover Review – A Fantastic and Cute Cordless Epilator

I want the best out of my hair removal products, which is why I fell in love with the Emjoi Soft Caress Cord/Cordless Hair Remover.  It has everything a girl could want from an epilator.  The 24 karat gold-plated tweezer discs remove hair quickly and effectively – no stubble left behind with this one!  I’m pretty used to pain from hair removal, but I’ve found that the pain reduction technology and massaging finger attachment do make a difference.  It’s ergonomically designed, meaning it’s comfortable to use for as long as I need to (and I’ll admit sometimes that’s a lot).  I use it everywhere, including legs, arms, underarms, and bikini line.  It can be used cordless, or with a 110V adaptor.  The package even comes with a carrying pouch, meaning if I need to travel with it I can.  It’s a solid, efficient device that’s been keeping my legs silky and stubble free for the past year.  I love it!

Pros:

• Cord or Cordless: One of my pet peeves with epilators is when you don’t have an option to go cordless.  I can’t stand being glued to a wall whenever I want to epilate.  Thankfully, the Emjoi Soft Caress can be used either way.  If I’m expecting to use it a long time I can plug it in halfway through, but if it’s just a touch up I don’t have to worry about dealing with cords.  I can use it however I want.
• Pain Reduction Technology: I’ve recommended this device to friends who are just getting started with epilators.  The pain reduction technology found in this device (and all of Emjoi’s epilators) really helps reduce the discomfort that comes from this form of hair removal.  While it will never be pain free (you are pulling out hairs, after all!), the experience with this device is much more bearable than what I’ve seen with others.
• Useful Everywhere: Not all epilators can go all places, but this one can.  It makes short work of legs, underarms, and bikini lines (although I wouldn’t recommend going straight to that last area if you’re a beginner).  I’ve also heard that it works beautifully for individual hairs on the face. 
• Ergonomic Design: I’ve been blessed (ha ha) with thick dark hair that seems to grow back overnight.  Because of this I spend a lot of quality time with my epilators.  The ergonomic design of the Emjoi Soft Caress means that no matter how much time I have to spend on hair removal, I stay comfortable. 

Cons:

• Can Catch Skin: I’ve noticed with this particular epilator that it can catch at the skin if it’s not pulled tight.  Depending on your skin type this may or may not be a problem for you.  It’s always a good idea to pull the skin tight around the area you’re working on.  It’s not painful when it catches, but it may slow you down a bit.
• Takes a Little While: Speaking of slowing you down, don’t expect to be done removing all your hair in a few minutes.  It takes some time to get everything taken care of with this machine.  You may have to go over the same area a few times (I know I do).  But the results are worth it – soft, silky, hair free skin that feels amazing.

I don’t know where I’d be without my Emjoi Soft Caress.  It keeps my skin hair free and soft without it being too painful to use.  I love that I can use it on all parts of my body and that I can choose whether I want to plug it in or go cordless.  It’s easy to hold, easy to use, and it’s even quieter than many other epilators.  It’s everything a girl could want in a hair removal device.  If you’re looking for a more effective option than shaving, waxing or tweezing, you’ll love this little machine.
